PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
This unit standard is for learners who have to demonstrate the ability to monitor, report and advise on compliance to legislation regarding pressure vessels and pressure systems. Persons credited with this unit standard are capable of:
Monitoring and advising on the specified requirements pertaining to the classification, safe use of pressure vessels and pressure systems in a work place.
Demonstrating knowledge pertaining to design criteria, construction, installation and testing of pressure vessels and pressure systems in a work place.
Monitoring and advising on the maintenance, examination and records of pressure vessels and systems in a work place.
