US 262687 – Apply regulatory requirements in plant operations (NQF Level 2, Credits 3)

PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 

Qualifying learners will acquire the necessary knowledge of regulatory requirements related to construction plant operations. They will be able to apply safe handling and maintenance practices in compliance with plant manufacturer’s operating instructions. Learners who prove competence described in this unit standard will contribute to the development of a professional community of construction plant operators who are able to competently use science and technology when applying operation techniques.  

SPECIFIC OUTCOME 1 

Apply relevant Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
